As I work on one my most recent designs to be launched in 2015 I am drawn back to the methodical and tactile process of lino printing.
Collaging, arranging and re-arranging cut paper shapes until I reach a final composition to be printed mirrors the process I was asked to describe on the fantastic ‘Confessions of a Design Geek’ blog. It’s a great place to read about current developments in the design world and find out about new talents.
Writing up the method I follow to create a design (from initial research through to the final printed fabric) was a great way to clarify the process and I am thrilled to be featured by Katie Treggiden in ‘Here’s One I Made Earlier’
